Terms of Use

The agreement between you and Saturn. Written to be read once and understood, not to be survived.
1. What Saturn is
Saturn is an iPhone app that turns a description into a working app: a preview you can use immediately, and a real source project you can export and open in Xcode, Android Studio or an editor. The generating is done by AI models chosen from the picker in the app.
Using Saturn means you accept these terms. If you do not, do not use it.
2. Who may use it
You must be 13 or older. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent or guardian's permission. If you are using Saturn for an organisation, you confirm you may accept these terms on its behalf.
3. Your account
You can use Saturn without an account. If you make one, keep your sign-in method secure and tell us if you think someone else has it. You may delete the account at any time from Settings → Delete account, which removes it and everything attached to it immediately.
We may suspend an account that is being used to break these terms, and will say why.
4. Plans, credits and payment
Saturn is free to start. Paid plans add credits and unlock every model.

- One credit is roughly one build. Heavier models and higher thinking levels cost more, and the app shows the cost before you spend it.
- Credits renew at the start of each period. Unused credits do not carry over.
- A build that fails is refunded automatically.
Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID and renew automatically until cancelled. Cancel at least 24 hours before a period ends, in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your iPhone — we cannot cancel it for you, and deleting the app does not cancel it.
Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple, under Apple's policy, at reportaproblem.apple.com. If something went wrong that Apple will not resolve, write to us and we will try to help.
5. What you make belongs to you
Everything Saturn generates for you — the app description, the preview, the source code — is yours. We claim no ownership and take no licence over it beyond what is needed to store it and show it back to you.
You may use, change, publish and sell what you make, including commercially. You do not have to credit Saturn.
Two honest caveats. AI models can produce output that resembles existing work, and identical prompts can produce similar results for different people, so we cannot promise that anything generated is unique or that it does not infringe someone's rights. Checking that before you ship something is yours to do.
6. What Saturn owns
The app itself, its design, its name and this website remain ours. These terms give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app; they do not let you copy it, resell it, take it apart, or use it to build a competing product.
7. What you must not do
- Break the law, or build something whose purpose is to.
- Generate material that sexualises children, incites violence, harasses somebody, or is designed to deceive people into losing money or data.
- Attempt to extract our API keys, bypass the credit system, or send requests by any route other than the app.
- Automate the app at a volume that degrades it for other people.
- Resell Saturn's generation as your own service.
Prompts are passed to AI providers who have their own rules, and a request they refuse will fail regardless of what we think of it.
8. AI output is not advice
Saturn writes code and text on demand. It can be wrong, out of date, or confidently mistaken. Nothing it produces is legal, medical, financial or professional advice, and code it writes should be reviewed before it handles anyone's money, health or personal data.
9. Availability
We aim to keep Saturn running and will not promise it always will be. Model providers have outages, and so will we. We may change or remove features, and if a change is significant we will say so in the app.
10. Liability
Saturn is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profit or data, or for anything arising from what a model generated. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing here removes rights you have as a consumer that cannot be removed by agreement.
11. Ending it
You may stop using Saturn and delete your account whenever you like. We may end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms. Sections 5, 6, 8 and 10 survive.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects your rights, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect, and continuing to use Saturn after that means you accept it. The date at the top is always the current version.
13. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without affecting protections you have where you live. Disputes go to the courts of England and Wales, unless your local consumer law entitles you to your own.
14. Apple
This agreement is between you and Saturn, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide support for the app. If the app fails to conform to any warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price; Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple is not responsible for claims about the app, including product liability, consumer-protection or intellectual-property claims. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
