How Saturn works, and what to do when it does not.

Getting started
- Open Saturn and sign in with Apple, Google or an email code. You can also tap Not now and look around first.
- Type what you want — "a reading tracker with a library, goals and a way to add a book". A sentence about what the app is for beats a list of screens.
- Pick the platform with the pill above the keyboard: iPhone, Android, web or Expo.
- Send. Saturn narrates as it works, then shows a preview you can tap through.
- Change anything by saying so — "make it orange", "add a screen for notes". It edits the app you have rather than starting over.
Models
The pill at the top picks who answers. They differ in speed, depth and cost.

Thinking level is under the model list. Higher means the model deliberates longer. It is rarely the difference between a good app and a bad one, and it is always the difference between waiting one minute and waiting four — start low.
Credits
One credit is roughly one build. Heavier models and higher thinking levels cost more, and the cost is shown before you spend it. Free gives 30 a month, Pro 120, Max 1,200. They renew at the start of each period and a failed build is refunded automatically.
When something goes wrong
"You are out of credits"
The month's allowance is spent. They renew on the 1st, or a plan adds more. Switching to a lighter model stretches what you have.
The build produced code but no preview
The model spent its answer on the source project. Saturn asks again for the preview on its own; if it still does not appear, say "show me the app" and it will build one from what it already wrote.
A screen looks empty
Tell it so — "the goals screen has no numbers". Saturn checks its own work before showing it, but a screen can still be built against data that is not there, and naming the screen is enough for it to fix.
The build stopped partway
Usually the connection. Saturn keeps whatever arrived before the drop, so you often have most of an app already — ask for the missing part rather than starting again.
Sign in with Apple does nothing
Check that an Apple Account is signed in on the device, in Settings → your name. Sign in with Apple cannot start without one.
The app feels slow
Lower the thinking level, or pick Haiku or Gemini Flash. A build at the highest level can take four minutes; at the lowest it is under ninety seconds, and for most briefs the result is the same.
Your projects
- Chats live in the sidebar — the ☰ button. Signed in, they follow you to another device; signed out, they stay on the phone.
- Export gives you the real source project — a folder you can open in Xcode, Android Studio or an editor and build yourself.
- Deleting a chat is a swipe on it in the sidebar.
Subscriptions
Plans are billed through your Apple ID and renew until cancelled. To cancel, open Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your iPhone and turn off renewal at least 24 hours before the period ends. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Deleting your account
Settings → Delete account. It removes the account, every chat, every app you built and your credit balance, immediately and permanently. There is no form to fill in and no email to send.
